(Technically, given I haven't slept since I got up at 10:30am "yesterday", this post still counts as having been done once a day.)

"It took a certain kind of clonetrooper to wear Blaze Armour. It was heavy, unwieldy, and generally unpleasant to use. It provided much better protection from standard blaster fire, but your slowness meant you'd probably be taking your fair share anyway. Not every regiment had Blazetroopers, as they were known, for this reason - it didn't make sense for the 91st's scouts to be running about in heavy combat armour. The 6th Republic Guard, however, knew that their duty was among the most important of all clones - safeguarding the lives of navy personnel, senators, and other VIPs. They had no concept of "specialisation" - every one of their elite number was trained as an Advanced Recon Force scout, explosives expert, vehicle driver, and so on. Blaze Armour, then, was just another speciality to them - the heavy duty plating allowing them to form immovable walls in front of key personnel, and their wrist-mounted flamethrowers meaning they posed a formidable threat in close quarters combat. They weren't so useful out in the streets, admittedly - but that was what the ARF troopers were for. The 6th Republic Guard, with this armour, exemplified what it meant to be one of their number - adaptability, and ultimate confidence in the abilities you possess."
