"Hound was a man inspired by the lineage of great Mandalorian bounty hunters - Cassus Fett, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and others were all legends, living or dead, to himself and to others of his mindset. It was with this inspiration that he chose to follow in their footsteps, to forsake his clan and take the path of isolation, living off of his own accomplishments and his own earnings. He was quick to separate himself from the common ilk of Mandalorian impersonators and came to be known as a prominent figure in parts of the Outer Rim. He joined the crusade of Mandalore the Crusader. along with the Sabin, Gaza, and Victus Clans, as well as Nidas Fett's Sar'Tan clan, where they were attempting to rebuild a Mandalorian empire starting in the corner of the Outer Rim, and then working their way throughout the rest of the galaxy. However, a freak hyperspace accident stranded him and his fellow Mandalorians deep within the Unknown Regions. With no sign of help or support, infighting soon began to take a hold of the Crusade, and a rival Mandalore, calling himself the Infernal, attempted to rally his forces against the Crusader. Nidas Fett became independent, with the intent to unite the warring factions under one banner - his. Through it all, a handful of independent mercenaries like Hound found themselves siding with whoever provided the best guarantee of protection and of fulfilling the blood oath of conquest they had all given. Hound originally worked for the Infernal - his brutality seeming to illustrate how stalwart he was to be in his actions - but it soon became apparent to Hound that the Infernal was vying for power and little else. The Crusader had lost support for stranding them in the Unknown Regions in the first place, and so the only real option remaining to him was Nidas Fett, who seemed to have the best plan for returning the survivors back to the wider galaxy. Thus, Hound swore his allegiance to Nidas, and now fights as one of his subjects. His last order was to hunt another independent mercenary who had begun impersonating him back in the Outer Rim times, and now served under Mandalore the Infernal."
