Model Write-Up #18 - Skirata Company

"The Skirata Company was formed when three very rich and successful Mandalorians, each bearing ties to some of the original Null ARCs - Ordo, Kom'rk, and Prudii - decided to capitalise on their success and re-brand themselves as the new-age Skirata Clan Mandalorians. They had intended to find three more of their number to join them and make the full six as the command echelon on the clan, and to then expand outwards to challenge the other key clans in the galaxy. However, many Mandalorians took their names as an outrage, deciding that simple bounty hunters, however successful, did not deserve to take the names of great Mandalorian warriors without having proved themselves first. Other Mandalorians refused to associate with them as a result, and their hopes of making a new Skirata Clab were dashed. They opted to stay with the name - thinking if they were to earn it in time, it could still prove a valuable asset - but to rename their group to "Skirata Company". Ordo became the de facto leader of the group, due to the whole venture having been his idea, and the three requisitioned better equipment and unique paintjobs for their armour to reiterate the idea of the original Null ARCs and Mandalorian warriors. With this completed, they began to take larger jobs; whilst their fellow brothers may have ostracised the three, they were still acknowledged as excellent bounty hunters by many criminal guilds and had no shortage of business. Shortly before Mandalore the Crusader called them to arms, they had managed to accrue enough credits to purchase their own Vengeance-Class frigate and crew, and they used their vessel to great effect. They began to gain a more established reputation, and relations with other groups of Mandalorians were re-established. They joined the Crusader as they believed it would help sell their image as the "Skirata Company". When the hyperspace malfunction occurred, their frigate was heavily damaged, although not irreparably so. They have decided to remain with Mandalore the Crusader for the time being whilst they plan what other options are available to them, although Prudii has suggested joining Nidas Fett as his skills may be enough to lead them to greater glory and thus, greater recognition."
