"Terroid Gaza was born the son of Berias Gaza, and as the firstborn, he was slated to take control of Gaza Clan from his father when he died. He was brought up with a close reliance on technology - as most of the Gaza progeny had been - and came to be a renowned engineer on the planet of his birth before he reached full maturity, with buyers seeking his services around the globe. He was well on track to takeover from his father when the time came, and there were few doubts by any onlookers or analysts of the Mandalorian political position that Terroid would come to be the man to ask for news on Gaza. However, so obscure and out of the realms of knowing was his younger sister, Merrina, that nobody considered her voice or opinion as truly worthy to the complete picture. Disillusioned with the prospect of serving in a clan which did not wage war and did not conquer, Merrina led an attempted coup of the Gaza Clan leadership with independent supporters who named themselves, "The Heirs of Trakus." In the process, Terroid and Merrina's father was killed. Terroid took control of the clan early, and led a successful rebuttal of the attack. Merrina failed - many of her supporters were killed, and she herself as publicly shamed - but her true purpose had never been to eliminate Terroid as forcefully as that; instead, she wanted to see the Gaza Clan completely decimated, so that another could rise to take its place. Thus, she leaked a secret that she had learned from spies - that Terroid was not the son of two Mandalorians, as Merrina was, but instead of a drunken night of passion between his father and a Twi'lek mother who died in childbirth. She then revealed she led a smaller clan, and intended to fill the gap herself. Contrary to his advisors' wishes, Terroid refused to stand down from the position he had been given and declared he would stand fast against any criticism. He was as worthy of holding the Gaza Clan leadership as his father, and his father before him. Many outside commentators predicted that Victus Clan, long the most honourable and respected of all the Mandalorian clans, would respond by declaring war against Gaza. After all, a non-pure-blooded Mandalorian leading one of the three largest clans in the galaxy was seen as affront to the Mandalorian people. However, much to the surprise of Mandalorians every, Maladan Victus, the leader of Victus Clan, challenged Terroid to a one-on-one duel. The idea was largely seen to be farcical in nature, with Maladan being the most widely respected Vibroblade swordsman amongst the clans. To even more surprise, Terroid accepted the challenge, and pledged to duel Maladan on the ice world of Krator IV, where it was said Trakus - the first Gaza Clan leader - and Jirail - the first Victus Clan leader - agreed to a policy of non-aggression towards one another in light of Trakus saving Jirail's wife and daughter. Terroid arrived, a custom vibroblade in hand, and the two duelled for hours. Terroid was shown to be surprisingly competent, but in the end, Maladan defeated him. Instead of executing him, the Victus Clan leader took Terroid's hand and shook it, solidifying the agreement passed millennia ago. Victus and Gaza Clan became much closer, and went together to hear Mandalore the Crusader's call to arms. They declared allegiance together, and the two clan leaders had been formulating strategy when the Hyperspace Malfunction occurred. Terroid originally held fast to the Crusader, but as his allies dwindled and his position looked increasingly weak, Terroid took Gaza and struck out to join Nidas Fett. When he left, Maladan ripped off the seal of brotherhood he had given to Terroid on Krator IV - declaring that whilst he would not hunt Terroid, one day, they would meet again, and Maladan would have his vengeance for what he considered betrayal. Terroid now leads Gaza Clan towards an uncertain future with Nidas Fett, his conscience heavy with the loss of Maladan Victus..."
