"Kyraius Jeledon Morloch - or, as he usually addressed himself, Morloch - grew up on a slum world, like many Mandalorian families after the Mandalorian-Jedi War. Many of his friends turned to petty theft and crime, but he always idolised the overstretched and overworked officers who struggled to keep the streets clear enough during the day (as such a feat was entirely impossible at night). This admiration stemmed, partially, from his father being a low-level security officer in the local area. As Morloch grew up, his father told him daring stories of fighting crime, and the young Mandalorian imagined his father as a sort of laser-pistol wielding sheriff. Motivated by his father's exciting stories, Morloch began acting more authoritarian with his friends, encouraging them to give up crime. When they turned on him and tried to mug him, he did his best to deal with them. His father, noticing the scene on a patrol, rushed in to apprehend the children. Morloch's father sternly told him "not to play a hero if you know it'll kill you." The lesson Morloch learned was simple - pick the fights you know you can win, and leave the others. From that point forward, he adopted the philosophy as far as he was able, and helped his father with petty crimes as he grew up. When Morloch reached 18, he joined the local Law Enforcement Academy and began training as a cadet. His father helped fast-track him, and he was remarkably successful, passing the academy with flying colours. At the age of 23, now a junior patrolman, Morloch's father retired and passed on his helmet to Morloch; although he would not be allowed to wear it until he reached his father's rank, it was a token of trust and respect for Morloch. At the age of 28, Morloch's father passed away, and was given a memorial service by the locals. Many criminals attended, including a prominent crime lord who had long since struggled with him. The crime lord announced to Morloch that he would have no patience with him as he had his father; Morloch simply said the law was infinitely patient. Over the next ten years, Morloch began to take charge of areas his father had protected, and eventually apprehended the crime lord in a daring raid with several of his partners. With the crime lord dealt with, Morloch was promoted to a Warden - the rank his father had been - and thus began to wear his helmet in his honour. At age 44, Order 66 was declared and the Galactic Empire's reign began; with it, a dark new age for law enforcement was abound, with the Empire meddling in affairs and allowing immoral practices like slavery once again. Morloch was sorely disappointed with the speed with which his local police force accepted their new leadership, but he had nowhere else to go. Then, Mandalore the Crusader sent out his message for all of the Mandalorians to meet. Morloch debated whether to go, but decided he would be dishonouring his father's sense of justice if he did not take an opportunity to help overthrow the corrupt empire, and he went. When the malfunction occurred, Morloch stood by the Crusader, taking stock of the situation. He still remains by his side, but it is unclear whose allegiance Morloch will pursue until he has calculated the best chance of success..."
