A Longtime Greeting, and Professional Practice - 1

It's been a while. I've finished A-Levels and started University in the time it took for me to get back to writing here. Speaking of the latter - my module, Professional Practice, is pretty demanding. Blog posts are necessary. Here's one right now! Each one about what we studied in a given week - it's going to be a challenge to write these in an entertaining way, but here goes:
We studied author bios. We studied blogs. We studied...tea? I'm not sure that's satisfactory, so let's expand.
In the authors bios, we needed to draw comparisons between a few and identify the most effective. I found the best had a sort of "stinger sentence" in them - one by a girl named Sarah Abdullahi had a part that read "who spends her time engaging with Twitter trolls" - which I found interesting and, also, probably true of most people. I wrote my own, though it's gonna need redrafting, I'm sure:
"DAVID DRIVER-GOMM hopes to one day not just be “the guy with the funny hair”. Possessing a talent for writing more than he ought to and speaking less than he should (or is that the other way around?), he wants to go into writing video games so he can feed himself, his girlfriend, and his cats."
It's not bad, but it could be longer. Maybe I need a bit more to go off of - a few more lessons in, this'll hopefully make more sense. As for the blogs - I'm writing one right now. That was part of the in-class exercise, and also part of the assessment in May. Something tells me I won't be using my first blog post in almost a year in my final assessment, but hopefully I'll get better at this as I go along. Who knows? Maybe I'll get along better than I think.
